The Depot at Springer Station | Our Story

Your Hometown Oasis on I-25

When Steven and Melissa set out to open The Depot at Springer Station, the idea was simple: bring classic, homestyle American cooking to northern New Mexico. The kind of meals that feel like someone made them just for you, with generous portions and real ingredients like grass-fed beef. Nestled right off I-25 in the small town of Springer, The Depot has become a favorite stop for road trippers, truckers, and locals alike. Whether you're craving a hearty shepherd's pie, a fresh BLT, or a warm bowl of our famous tomato hatch chili soup, every dish is made with care and served with a smile. But The Depot is more than just great food. It's a gathering place where strangers become friends and every guest is treated like family. Grab a seat on our dog-friendly patio, enjoy a cup of our specialty coffee, and stay a while. We're glad you pulled off the highway.
